MIX AND MATCH CLASSES
*If you have not completed a full 3 month cycle in the Fundamentals classes, we suggest prioritizing that first.
CLASS DEFINITIONS
Fundamentals (3 Month Muay Thai Program)
Suggested level - beginners to intermediate
Duration - A curriculum based program that is on a 3 month rotation - Students can start this program anytime as the program repeats after 3 months.
Gear required - boxing gloves, shin guards, hand wraps, muay thai shorts
Physical Intensity - light
Focus - technique, attacks, defense, stance, basic footwork
Synopsis
This class is absolutely essential for your journey in muay thai. It will provide you with the building blocks and foundation that will carry you through your entire fight journey. It’s often very easy to neglect the basics to rush to do the “fun” stuff like sparring, but your long term progress will suffer if you do this. We highly suggest 6-8 months (going at least 2-3 times a week) in this program. It is also highly recommended that you periodically come back to it to hone the basics. In this program you will learn fight stance, basic footwork, and the fundamental muay thai attacks and their defenses.
