A TYPICAL 1-HOUR CLASS
1. Warm-Up and Conditioning
Each session begins with conditioning exercises designed to increase your heart rate and build strength and endurance. Activities include bodyweight exercises such as push-ups, squats, burpees, and jumping jacks. Skipping ropes, kettlebells, and weights may also be used, depending on the instructor’s focus. This segment prepares your body for the intensive training ahead.
2. Shadowboxing
Shadowboxing involves striking an imaginary opponent, helping you refine your techniques, improve agility, and build muscle memory. This practice sharpens your ability to visualize and anticipate real combat scenarios, a fundamental skill in Muay Thai.
3. Technical Lesson
The core of each class centers on learning Muay Thai techniques. This includes padwork, where students practice combinations with a coach or partner, and partner drills simulating real-life combat. Emphasis is placed on mastering strikes, footwork, and clinching, the essential elements of Thai boxing.
4. Core Training

5. Bow-Out
Each class concludes with a traditional Thai bow-out. Students press their palms together and say “Sawadee Krap” (for males) or “Sawadee Ka” (for females) as a sign of respect and gratitude for the training session.
