In 2015, I posted on Kijiji to advertise Legacy Fight Club. Not long after, I received an email from a man named Chris Vorano, offering his coaching experience. Curious, I invited him in. I still remember sitting with him by the stairwell, talking about the future of Legacy and his potential involvement. His sincere personality and passion for martial arts shone through during that informal interview and we brought him on that very day.

Ten years later, this goodbye is one of the hardest I’ve had to make. Chris has represented Legacy with the utmost pride. He was always ready to help with whatever was needed, showing up to almost every Legacy event with a big smile. He consistently shared his journey with us on social media, referred countless friends and family, and always treated our students with respect and genuine care. I've learned a great deal about customer care from Chris, always advising with suggestions of ways to make the club better. As an athlete, the man has one of the best conditioning and intensity I've seen. I am lucky to have stood by his corner and see him represent Legacy in kickboxing, MMA, and grappling competitions. The man is relentless! Doesn't give up and has ton of energy...

I want to personally thank Chris for everything he has given to Legacy. Like any long journey, we had our rough patches, but we endured them together, always keeping things respectful and professional. We didn’t always see eye to eye, but through communication and patience we grew, and I learned a great deal about relationships and communication thanks to him.

Change is part of life. People grow and change, directions shift, and sometimes separation is necessary. I’m truly grateful for Chris, and on behalf of myself and everyone at Legacy, I wish him nothing but success on his next venture.
